The Retreat

Nestled in secluded woodlands between Woodstock and Saugerties on sixteen private acres in Upstate New York, the views from Hacienda de Leyenda soar above the surrounding environs of West Saugerties and stretch upwards to the peaks of the famed Catskill mountains, with panoramic views of the Blue Mountains—named because of their shimmering blue color.

We are in a quiet country estate with bears, foxes, eagles, woodpeckers and beavers amongst other wildlife for company. Hacienda is just five miles from Saugerties town and six miles from Woodstock town. We sit in the gateway to the Catskills ski mountains with a short 25 minute drive to Belleayre Mountain, 30 minutes to Hunter Mountain and 40 minutes to Windham Mountain.

Hacienda de Leyenda has been designed and created to provide small or larger groups with their very own private playground, set on sixteen acres with no immediate neighbours and its own swimming and sports club.
